Katie Jane Goldin

Daughter of The late Professor Paul Goldin, Behavioural psychologist and world known hypnotist. KatieJane is 26 years old and has a Masters in NLP and Hypnosis. She is a certified child psychologist and is also one of the youngest members of the American Academy of Traumatic Stress.

Her first encounter with hypnosis was when she was 8 years old and hypnotised her school friends!

She has a Bill Keating diploma in TV presenting, production and direction and is a graduate in PR, marketing and advertising.

Katie has stepped into her fathers shoes and is now successfully running The Paul Goldin Clinic in Dun Laoghaire, together with a training clinic in Beijing, China for the past 5 years.

She was a columnist with the Irish Evening Herald Newspaper. Her Column “GoldinGirl” was aimed at a younger audience, where she talked about topics such as, falling out of love, weight loss and confidence issues to name a few.

She also does free-lance writing for many different publications.

KatieJane was a consultant on the recent TV3 show “Inside and Out”, in both 2006 and 2007.

Also in 2007 she worked with Ireland Am, to help the contestants lose weight to raise money for the bubblegum Charity.

Katie Jane worked with Social and Personal Magazine for 2 years with her problem page “Dear Katie” and got great feedback from it.

She has been a guest on Spin103.8 with Claire McKenna a number of times and has also gone on as a guest speaker on UK’s Highland Radio and Irish Country Mix.

She runs hypnotic seminars on how to become your Ideal Weight and is currently writing a book on the power of the mind. (watch this space)

Katie-Jane is also now further developing her father’s newest project; Colorgenics – which is a colour profiling test to let you know how you are feeling through the thought patterns of colour. Her new website www.goldinuniverse.com has become a big hit in the USA getting over 5000 visits a week!

Every Year Katie-Jane Chooses a charity to support and raise money for. She has been involved in fundraising for: Crumlins Childrens hospital for sick children, Brainwave Ireland – which helps improve the lives of people with epilepsy, The Sarah and Katie Foundation and Memorial Ball, and The Make-A-Wish foundation.

For the year 2010 – Katie-Jane has decided to get involved with Autism Ireland and raise fund to help make a difference to people who’s lives are touched by Autism.
