I had a client come into me last week in the clinic and she told me a lovely story that I would like to share with all of you…

She was waiting in line ordering a cup of coffee and after she picked up her coffee and was on the way out the door a man tipped her on the shoulder and said

“You are one of the most elegant women I have seen and you should be proud of yourself…. You look beautiful.”

And with that – he turned around and walked out the door. Now this lady knew she would never see this man again – and it wasn’t said in a sleazy way – it was just said as a fact. She did look good, she knew she looked good – and now a stranger had confirmed that. She will never forget that day or that man for as long as she lives… and how nice it was that he gave her that complement and made her feel better about herself then she had felt in a long time. His little complement – that took only a second to say – has helped her to believe in herself again and she feels good!

So now – wouldn’t it be nice to make someone feel that good? I’m going to complement someone today on something… I don’t know what yet… but it will come to me… I think you should do it too!
