It’s mid January and usually the time people begin to fall off the “New Years Resolution” wagon. If this sounds like you – check out the article I did last week on Sticking to your resolutions… It will defiantly help you re-focus!

This week I wrote an article on “You are what you wear” because the truth is – I took a look at myself and couldn’t believe the outrageous outfit I had put on this morning without even thinking!! I am working from home today as I had a lot of writing and paperwork to get finished… so I thought to myself – hey – nobody’s really going see me today so it doesn’t matter what I look like! Well… I started work and just couldn’t get into it… I was lacking in focus, motivation and really just felt like I couldn’t get anything done! So I went back and changed. I did my hair better and put on a more business like attire. Sat back at my desk and had nearly all of my work completed within an hour!! It got me thinking…. The way I dress makes my mind work a certain way….when I dress down without caring what I look like – my subconscious mind feels like it doesn’t have to put in the effort in the other areas of my life either!! When I dress well and feel better about myself – I get more done! (Light bulb moment!!) If you want to read more on what I think of this – check out my article on it!!

So… if you’re feeling bored, lacking in motivation and focus – go change your clothes and see what happens!!
